The Brewers broke in a beautiful brand new home field today, Champions Field at River Islands, with a hard fought 6-4 win over the A's. That win brings the Brewers record to 10-1, with 2 games remaining. Nick Rosen pitched 7 excellent innings to bring his record to 4-0. Ricardo Gomez closed it out, pitching the 8th and 9th and picking up the Save. As for hitting, several players got a hit, with Nick, Rafa Arroyo, Mark Valente and Jose Abugarade getting 2 a piece, with Rafa and Mark each driving in 2. Great defense by all today, with Xavier making several plays at 2B, while turning several double plays. Jason Coulie made several nice grabs in CF. Next game is July 30 in Livingston vs the Pericos.
